KALAHARI AWARDS FOR REMITTANCE AND MOBILEMONEY INNOVATIONS NOW OPEN FOR ENTRIES.

The 6^th Kalahari awards, Africa’s remittance and mobile financial services industry’s leading platform for innovation, is now open for online entry.

The Kahalari award is established and dedicated to acknowledging creativity, commitment and excellence in the remittance and mobile financial services ecosystem in Africa since 2001. Winners will be announced at the 6th Remittance & MobileMoney Expo in Lagos, Nigeria on 02 – 03 February 2016.

Award entry is open to all stakeholders in the remittance services industry with at least one active deployment or on-going partnerships in the Africa market. It is open to remittance providers, financial institutions, mobilemoney providers, micro finance entities, mobile network operators, independent firms, card processors and others.

The awards are decided by an independent panel of expert judges, based on a number of criteria including geographic market penetration, ongoing evidence of commercial campaigns, regulatory compliance where necessary, cross sector partnerships, active deployments and future potentials for further growth.
