VoguePay gets Fintech start-up recognition
VoguePay has won the “Best Fintech Startup” award at the just concluded Cashless Africa Expo. The award is in recognition to online payment in Nigeria and Africa in general. The event had in attendance stakeholders in the digital finance industry across Africa and globally.
According to Wole Ogunlade, head of digital media and strategy at VoguePay, the award is well deserved given VoguePay’s innovative solutions as a payment bridge that connects Africa with the rest of the world. He noted that VoguePay is the biggest payment gateway by merchant size in Nigeria and also serves customers in 4 continents including North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Also, Geoffrey Weli Wosu (co-founder of VoguePay and Director of Marketing, legal & compliance), acknowledged the award, that it is well deserved and comes on the heels of several industry recognitions to VoguePay in 2016.He further reinstated VoguePay’s commitment to excellence.
Others who also won award at the CashlessAfrica expo include Diamond Bank, TransferTo and WorldRemit among others.
VoguePay also won the “best online payment in Africa” at the African Achievers Awards which FORBES Magazinerated as as one of the most prestigious award ceremonies that represent the whole of the African continent.
