Uganda’s homegrown Xente app launches in Nigeria

Xente’s driving force is to create a cashless Africa and embrace digital payments that are better than Cash.

Nigeria is the first country Xente has extended its services to outside Uganda.

“We are proud to have a second home, nothing makes us happy than to sit at Africa’s first growing economy. We are more than happy to provide every Nigerian citizen with a secure, convenient and stress-free online buying experience,” said Allan Rwakatungu –Xente’s CEO

Xente’s vision is to become Africa’s largest digital commerce and finance company through excellent service delivery of relevant products and services for businesses and consumers.

“After Nigeria, Xente shall continue scaling amongst other African countries from Kenya, South Africa, to Tanzania before the end of April. We handle our customers with care which is why we give them value for their money, our Cash Back promotions are fair and we are not planning on changing our position on that. Expect many promotions to come your way,” said Lyn Tukei -Xente’s Chief Marketing Officer.

As payments shift to become increasingly digital, Xente is primed to become the largest player in the African continent to drive a cashless economy.

Xente app Nigeria is currently available on Android.
