Uganda’s homegrown Xente app launches in Nigeria
Xente Tech, an e-payment, e-commerce, and financial services company has launched in Nigeria as the first African country outside Uganda.The new family will enjoy a wide range of products including buying airtime across the major networks in Nigeria among which include; Zain Nigeria, MTN Nigeria, Glo mobile and Etisalat, Utility payments for electricity, Water, & TV services (GOtv, Kwese TV, StarTimes and DSTV). A customer is able to pay for the products using Mobile Money, Visa Card and MasterCard.
Xente’s driving force is to create a cashless Africa and embrace digital payments that are better than Cash.
Nigeria is the first country Xente has extended its services to outside Uganda.
