MTN Rwanda enables Mobile Money at SP filling stations

MTN Rwanda has tied up with Societe Petroliere (SP Limited) to enable customers to pay for fuel at any of the 25 SP petrol stations across the country using MTN Mobile Money.
Customers who pay for fuel at any SP station using MTN Mobile Money will be rewarded with a RWF 10 discount per litre from 16 July to 15 August.
Customers will receive an SMS asking them to approve the pending payment initiated by the fuel pump attendant.
They will dial star 182 hash – My Account – Pending Approvals – and approve the payment by entering their Mobile Money PIN.
