GHANA:Group Nduom starts mobile money service
The Group Nduom (GN) conglomerate has introduced GN Mobile Money.
This service adds to the existing mobile money services rendered by telecommunication companies in the country.
General Manager of GN Micro Enterprise, Kofi Asamoah-Siaw, in a video explaining how the service works, said: “GN Mobile Money is available on all networks which mean everybody can do it.
“You can save money on your mobile phone. GN Mobile money also allows you to buy airtime anytime you want to, which means you can buy for yourself, your parents, boyfriends or girlfriends and you can buy from any network you want.
“GN Mobile Money also makes it possible for GN Bank account holders to check their bank balances anytime anywhere and you can also transfer money from one bank account to the other,” he said.
There is a surge in mobile money usage in the country as many subscribers argue the service is convenient and faster than traditional banking.
